The Whisky Library holds an exclusive collection of whisky and spirits. Opened by a local connoisseur, this Landmark shop was their first brick and mortar store. The space has an access passage doorway that leads to The Armoury Store as the two shops share a lot and opened simultaneously. We wanted to keep the shop simple and affective to display the stunning bottles, therefore we designed simple laminated plywood shelving and highlighted the space with a local iconic mosaic tile to symbolise that the brand was created in Hong Kong. The simple black ceiling and lines accentuate the masculinity of the shop. We also custom designed a simple curved plywood door handle for the shop for a tactile customer experience.
