Location Hong Kong China SAR
Completion Year 2018
Project Size 650 sq ft
Collaboration Jessica Lee (JLA Architecture Studio)
Our inspiration for this project came from Georgia O’Keeffe’s flower paintings as her paintings are often organically interpreted as female intimate parts. The fluid usage of linear gestures in her paintings inspired our design to incorporate curved surfaces and warm lighting to create a flowing spatial experience. The gradient of colours with the depth of shade and shadows inspired us to use a palette of natural and neutral materials to make the clinic a welcoming and calming sanctuary for its patients.
