For the flagship store of Rupert Sanderson in Shanghai located in the International Finance Centre Shopping Mall, we designed a shop based on the existing shops to keep the same branding but redeveloping the details and spaces for a more engaging and interesting atmosphere. We created a circular seat in the middle to encourage a flow in while customers walk through the store. We also integrated the entire wall shelving into one continuous shelving so that the whole space feels more fluid and unified. The shelvings are also movable so that it can be changed every season and we added two ceiling “pebble” shape coves to echo the designs of the shoes.
