The apartment is perched on a hill with lushes greenery on the back and the Hong Kong eastern harbour view on the front. We wanted to create a comfortable and calming environment for a family of three. The clients wanted the home to be very minimal and practical, and had an emphasis that all the materials needed to be low VOC  (Volatile Organic Compound). We designed and specified all materials, built-in cabinets and paints that were all low VOC. We designed a lot of storage space in the home but still maintaining an airy spacious atmosphere in the flat. We chose a few pendant lights to place accents amongst the minimal palette. The light color material palette brings in more natural light and creates a bright and warm home.
